Councils, Committees & 'Friends' associations

A “Parish Council” (PC) is the group of Councillors responsible for a civil parish.

A “Parochial Church Council” (PCC) is the body legally responsible for an ecclesiastical parish.

A “Village Church Committee” (VCC) is responsible for certain aspects of running an individual church.

A “Friends of...” association (Friends) takes responsibility for fundraising for the local church.
