St Mary Greywell

Three of Greywell’s ancient bells are still in use and hung for full-circle ringing.

They are inscribed as follows:

* 1st Bell (thought to date from the 15th century):
HAL MARY FULL OF GRAS W.R.

* 2nd Bell: FEARE GOD 1638

 * 3rd Bell: HENRY KNIGHT MADE ME 1632

A fourth bell, an unmarked “ting-tang”,
is relatively modern.
